About the Role
Enjoy the benefit of teaching independently without the hassles of running a business by considering a job with Make A Joyful Noise music studio. We are located in Zionsville and teach lessons in the students' home. Teachers get to use their own teaching methods and create their own schedules. The company handles everything else from collecting payments to scheduling recitals. Starting pay is $34/hour. Candidates do not have to be experienced teachers, but experience may increase the hourly rate.
Requirements
Be flexible and able to have fun with students of a variety of ages and personalities
Be trained and knowledgable in voice and music theory
Have a reliable vehicle to travel to lessons
Have good communication skills
Be able to teach for a minimum of 3 hours/week

Established in 1999, Make A Joyful Noise brings music lessons to your home. Now there’s no drive time and no loading up siblings. You can continue your day around the house while your child learns music.
Performing is an integral part of musical education. Our recitals are relaxed (even if students are not)! All students at every level are encouraged to participate!
Our teachers customize each student’s lesson to meet their personal needs and goals. Lessons are flexible, but carefully managed to ensure students are learning the fundamentals as well as having fun.
